This Grant, MN Deck Renovation Project featured Timbertech/Azek Brownstone decking paired with a French White Oak drink rail on Westbury C-10 railings. It was a classic ‘redeck’ where we reused the existing framing but added new framing and footings to extend the deck beyond the corner of the house, allowing for the addition of a new stairway. We also installed Timbertech’s DrySpace system beneath the deck, which functions like a large gutter to keep the area below dry—hence the visible downspouts. This Timbertech/Azek decking is a PVC product that stays much cooler than darker composites, making it a favorite and one of the top sellers in the market.
