This White Bear Lake Deck Build Project began when our customer googled ‘Deck Builders’ in April of this year and submitted a contact form through our website requesting an estimate. After our site visit and detailed proposal, we were given the green light several weeks later to move forward with the project. A follow-up conversation confirmed we were selected based on our competitive pricing and extensive experience.
The previous deck had numerous heaving concrete footings, creating chaos for the level of the deck, and it was so bad the homeowners stayed away. Even if concrete footings are large enough and deep enough to pass code, the soil conditions can retain groundwater that can eventually freeze and push the footings (and deck) upwards. We’ve seen footings pushed out of the ground to over 12”. When this happens, the only real solution is helical pile footings, which we installed here. Our partner, Goliathtechmn, installed these footings.
The main decking is Trex Toasted Sand with a Trex Spiced Rum drink rail on Westbury C-10 railings. Once again, notice the high-quality craftsmanship of the picture-framed stairs—something you won’t get with other deck contractors. Our superstar Ukrainian crew of Yurri and Illya completed this White Bear Lake deck build project in four days. Great job, guys, and Slava Ukraine!
