Timbertech Azek Brownstone main with Kona for octagon picture frame and Trex Select railings with a deck board drink rail. 6 pairs of stair riser lights were also installed. This was a complete replacement of front steps and main deck in addition to adding a mid landing and staircase to the lower level of the back yard. These stairs and mid landing were requested for the 2 four legged family members who need to access but are apparently getting older. The 8’ railing posts were requested for future decorative lights. This municipality does not allow our popular Diamond Pier footings (which is allowed in over 95% of other cities) so our only options were helical piles or concrete footings and concrete was much more economical. Designing the footings and beams for the octagon were perplexing to say the least but it worked out nicely we believe.
