After submitting a contact form expressing his interest in deck repair and painting, the homeowner and our team met at his residence to discuss options. We then submitted an estimate for a ‘redeck.’ A few weeks later, he reached out to give us the go-ahead and to schedule this Inver Grove Heights redeck project. His decision was based on our competitive pricing and our team’s extensive experience in similar deck building projects.
This ‘redeck’ consisted of removing the decking, railing and stair stringers while leaving the framing, including the framing for the stair mid-landing. A perceived challenge was replacing the deck boards beneath the gazebo, which wasn’t a challenge after all. The real challenge was establishing a stable eight-walled pavilion that had to be squared up after being jacked up and replaced. Some work was involved to reset the walls so the doors would work properly, but the result was fantastic, according to the homeowner.
The entire decking is Trex Transcend Spiced Rum, and the railing is Westbury C-10. Wired stair riser lights were installed, all connected to a transformer next to the basement patio door. Another excellent job on this Inver Heights Grove redeck, my Guerreros team—great job, folks!
