Azek PVC Kona decking and drink rail with horizontal cable railing. We also installed 2 pairs of stair riser lights and a 6’ vinyl privacy wall on one side. White AZEK PVC fascia, risers and post wraps. This was a complete demo followed by rebuilding and expanding the footprint slightly where we squared off an old notched corner. Customer specifically wanted all deck boards running the same direction so we had to be creative for the framing. We used a larger than normal glulam beam to allow large post spacing as to provide a better view of the water. Footings consisted of about 12 diamond piers and 2 helical piles. The piles were installed as a couple of the footings were located in some difficult locations next to their landscaped retaining walls in the garden and dps would’ve created installation problems.
