The Coon Rapids, MN Deck Building Project showcased variable width Azek PVC Mahogany for the main decking, paired with Westbury C-30 Riviera fascia-mounted railings and Azek PVC Dark Hickory for the picture frame and continuous drink rail. We installed wired stair riser lights on every other riser. This was a classic ‘redeck’ where we retained the existing framing and added new decking, railing, and stairs. Normally, we overhang the picture framing by ½” to ¾”, but due to the fascia-mounted posts, we kept it flush with the deck surface.
The home owner requested the boards to be installed in a ‘random’ fashion for a cool cosmopolitan feel and look. Excellent job once again by Eugene, Dan and Alex, some of the finest carpenters in the state.
