Woodbury Deck Build

This Woodbury Deck Build project began when we, as a Timbertech Pro Platinum installer, received a lead email from their generator late last summer indicating a homeowner was interested in estimates for a new deck. As the low bidder, we were awarded the project and immediately began working on the plans and securing the permit. After a few delays beyond our control, we officially kicked off the deck installation in December.

This Woodbury deck build project consists of Timbertech/Azek Boardwalk PVC for the main and picture frame with Azek Castlegate PVC for the fascia combined with a decorative ripped piece of Boardwalk deck board. The railing consists of Black ADI RailFX with wired string lighting beneath the top rail, and support posts are wrapped in Smartside LP siding. We installed a Trex Rainescape system with gutters and downspouts for rainwater diversion, which was covered with a standard aluminum soffit for the under deck ceiling. We had to coordinate with an electrician as he installed a fan and some lighting prior to the soffit installation. Footings are helical piles installed by our partner, Goliathtechmn. Surprisingly, all five piles had to be extended to a depth of 10’ due to unsuitable soils encountered at the termination point. Normally the piles are left when installed to the standard depth of 7’ if the minimum torque is met.

Lastly, an electric Hanso Homes louvered pergola was constructed, secured and powered up (later removed). This project was basically completed in the dead of winter and paused a few times due to some late winter snow storms. Another superb job by Jerry, Antonio, Daniel and Edgar. Excellent job gentlemen!
