In May of this year, we were awarded this Vadnais Heights deck build project after receiving an estimate request from the contact form on our website. This was followed by our free in-home consultation and subsequent submission of our detailed deck build proposal.

The decking consists of Trex Rocky Harbor with the popular Westbury C-10 railings. To avoid installing the hideous-looking ADA stair handrail (which is usually attached to the regular handrail and is a code requirement), we used the code-compliant Westbury stair crossover brackets, allowing a full-length graspable railing the entire length of the stairs.

The post wraps consist of Azek PVC post wrap products, and the large open views were only possible with the Screeneze screen product, which is easily installed. The footings are the most reliable helical pile footings, installed by our partner, Goliathtechmn.

From start to finish, this Vadnais Heights deck-build project took approximately 18 working days, and we had to deal with many rainy days, not to mention constructing this while trying to walk up and down wet and slippery mud. The sod was installed in mid-project, and we had to delay work for a week or so before resuming. Another outstanding deck completed by G-man and his crew – excellent job people!
