At the beginning of this year, we received a contact form submission from an interested customer.  After our free in-home visit and submitting a detailed estimate via email they gave us the green light as we were one of the most competitive bids for this Stillwater deck building project.  This was a complete removal of a 700+SF wood deck and replacing it with new framing, footings and decking. We are pleased to announce that the deck replacement project has been successfully completed.

The decking is Timbertech/Azek Boardwalk for the main deck area and Castlegate for a picture frame, fascia and riser. This high-quality PVC deck board stays cooler in the summer heat and is easy to maintain. The footings consisted of standard concrete footings, but there were numerous challenges as the soil depth was generally less than 36”, and we had to go down to 42”, requiring some jackhammering. From start to finish, this project took nine working days.

Railings were a non-starter as this residence’s backyard was close to and literally sits approximately 150’ higher above the St. Croix River with stunning views. There were not going to be any obstructions.  The breathtaking views included long sitting Bald Eagles and their partially built nest, a rustic, historic, steel-high railroad bridge and many other incredible natural features.  The sandstone bluff view was quite impressive, and now they have a gathering place to enjoy it.

Another super job by Jerry, Antonio, Daniel, Edgar and Jesus. Your dedication and hard work have made this Stillwater deck building project a success. Well done, gentlemen!
