After googling ‘deck builder near me’ and researching our services, the customer submitted an inquiry form on our website, and we set up an appointment. After our free in-home consultation and submission of our detailed estimate, the customer gave us the green light for this Lake Elmo deck build project and it was placed on the schedule.
The project took four days to complete, and the decking is Timbertech/Azek Weathered Teak for the main, stairs, and drink rail, and the railing is Westbury C-10. This decking is a PVC product and does not heat up as much as composite decking, which is especially nice for south-facing decks like this one.
The footings were standard concrete footings, and an extra beam was placed in front of the cantilever coming from the house. It’s not allowed to structurally connect to this part of a house unless the engineered plans specifically indicate it can, which isn’t too familiar.
