The Apple Valley, MN Deck Replacement Project began earlier this year when we received an email through our website’s contact form requesting an estimate. Our sales team responded the same day and scheduled an appointment. As the lowest bidder among three or four companies, we were awarded the project and got started promptly. This was a complete tear-down and rebuild, featuring a significantly larger surface. The original deck was more of a glorified stoop, measuring approximately 8’x4’, and included a homemade lift device that had been used by the late husband in a wheelchair (photo provided).
The new structure is a 12’x12’ deck with Trex Lineage Jasper for the main and stair treads and Trex Lineage Carmel for a picture frame, fascia and drink rail. Railings consisted of Westbury C-10 railings, and footings were Diamond Pier DP50s installed using only a jackhammer. This Apple Valley deck replacement took about one week to complete, including time for new decking boards to arrive to replace damaged ones delivered. Another dream deck was constructed by our professional deck builders, Jerry, Antonio, Edgar and Daniel. Excellent job, gentlemen!
