What began in 2014 as a small venture flipping distressed homes has since evolved into one of the Twin Cities’ most trusted names in outdoor living. In 2018, a request to build a composite deck marked a turning point—and Rosebud Decks & Porches was born. I would give 10 stars if I could. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Rosebud. They are not a general construction company fishing for any job just to make a buck and having little to no experience in too many areas. Instead, it is obvious their focus on one type of project has made them experts at what they do (decks/porches). The team who built our deck was phenomenal, and I would truly describe their workmanship & craftsmanship as expert level. Also, their customer service is the best I have ever had with a contractor in 20+ years as a homeowner. Starting with initial consultation (Aidan), he was quick to respond to questions, upfront/honest about all aspects of our specific project, understanding of our specific needs, and never once did I feel he was pushing us with a sales tactic. Next was the project manager (Tyler) who was great with communication and properly addressing a few minor things that came up as the project was underway. He always responded to our inquires, and made it seem like we were a priority for them. Lastly, the owner (Joe) went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the final product. He truly cares about his customers. They even came out free of charge and absorbing the cost of new materials 1 year after building our deck to fix an unforeseen issue. I was told from the start at the initial visit with Aidan that Rosebud’s ultimate goal is to ensure my wife and I were happy. They absolutely meant it, followed through with their promises, and knocked it out of the park. Rosebud will be the ONLY deck contractor I ever recommend from now on to anyone in MN & WI. Do not hesitate to hire them for your next project. You will be thankful that you did instead of some other company who is difficult to communicate with, tries to convince you their poor workmanship is "industry standard," and ghosts you once they finish the project without concern for your overall satisfaction. We had an excellent experience working with Rosebud decking. We had an old cedar deck that they took out and installed a brand new composite deck for us. We really appreciate how quickly the job was done and the hard work/effort their team put into it. The project manager was onsite throughout the week and answered all of my questions. We are happy that we went with a local company and would recommend them to neighbors and friends.

We had a fantastic experience with Rosebud. We were referred by a friend who recommended them highly, and we were similarly impressed. The initial walkthrough and bid was easy and no pressure. Aidan was excellent at communicating, answered all of our questions throughout the process, and helped us through a fair amount of indecision about choosing the right materials, design, etc.
There was some demo that needed to be done beforehand, and they were able to handle everything as discussed, including salvaging some new berry bushes we had just planted right around the build site. They were able to do the construction earlier than expected, and completed the job faster than we expected, and we are thrilled with the finished product.
Decks are expensive, and we were hesitant with a project of this size, but I am very happy that we chose Rosebud for the project. Thanks to the whole crew for making it a great experience for us!

WOW! I cannot speak highly enough of Rosebud. From the estimate process to final construction, the Rosebud team was efficient, professional, and gave us a high quality deck. Additionally, Rosebud’s pricing was very reasonable compared to other local options. I would highly recommend Rosebud if you are looking to redo your deck! We upgraded our wood deck to a maintenance free option. We are so happy with the outcome!!

Rosebud redid an existing deck at our home. The entire process from start to finish went extremely smooth. The deck turned out fantastic. The crew that did the work was very diligent and conscientious of our home. I would definitely recommend this particular company if you are interested in having a new deck or an old deck redone.

Fantastic work. We had a large project and Rosebud came through for us. From the beginning, they were attentive to our goals and even helped us elevate it with tons of options. Throughout the process there was tight communication with the project manager making sure expectations were aligned. Overall, a fantastic experience! I would recommend Rosebud without hesitation!

We secured three bids from different contractors to replace our 640 Sq. Ft. deck in December of 2024. The salesperson from Rosebud Construction was very professional and responsive to all our questions and requests for additional information. Rosebud's bid and one other was about the same amount. The third was higher. We were told the start date would be late January 2025 or early February. As promised, they started construction the last week of January. The crew was skilled, professional, and friendly. They answered questions as the project went along, stayed on the job through some cold days and finished in an acceptable amount of time. They also did a good job of cleaning up at the end and I would say the finished product speaks for itself. It's a beautiful deck, well built with quality products and will last a very long time. I would give them five stars and recommend them highly.

Rosebud built us a new deck with an enclosed porch at a cost and quality that couldn't be matched by any competitor. The porch and deck were built in a manner and time that exceeded all my expectations. They built it exactly how we envisioned it to be in a seamless and painless process with a price that was unbeatable. They were so good, I referred my brother who also had his deck/stairs built by Rosebud. You will NOT find a better builder to work with at a cost that is far far below competitors with a finished product that you will love. I am incredibly impressed with Rosebud which is a first for me as I've never had such a responsive, focused, and timely experience with prior builder's I have hired.

We built a new house in Medina and decided to skip the "builder grade" deck, and I'm so glad that we did. Aidan helped us design a larger deck than what the builder offered us, for less money. Can't beat that! Tyler was the project manager and ensured the work was done on time. This is literally the highest quality deck I've seen. Joe, the owner, is a stand up guy. I can't recommend Rosebud enough. Wish they did more than decks!

After looking around for a while and getting a number of quotes. I decided to go with Rosebud constructions and i am glad I did. The following reasons are why:
- They were the only company that was able to provide me a reasonable breakdown of the price.
- They were the only company that was ready to start on the deck right away, and finishing it in a timely manner. 7 days from start to finish.
- The team were very flexible working to meet our needs during the build. This was a big plus for us to come up with our desired deck at the end.
- The quality of the work was exceptional, and they have no issues what so ever marking my comments to meet our expectations
- The entire chain was very professional and knowledgeable. Staring from Joe the owner who responded to my request in a timely manner. Aiden, who came out to take the measurements and provide the estimate. Tyler, the project manager who did an exceptional job working through the roadblocks that came up. Finally the build team Yurri & Illya whom turned this into reality in just 7 working days.

Rosebud construction was the right choice for our deck project! They were very responsive from the moment we requested a quote to the time our project was finished. They were the first to respond to our inquiries out of several companies, and came in thousands of dollars lower than the others! We built a 16x16 deck with stairs, and it was completed in just 4 days! Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to build a deck!

We had questions throughout and their communication was great! They worked through every question we had. That is always important to us.
And our end products - our screen porch, grilling deck, front steps - are amazing!

We relied on reviews to find a builder for a new deck. After a couple of bids, we chose Rosebud because they were competitively priced and I just had a good vibe from the salesman. Well, Rosebud lived up to their online rating and then some. Sales, project manager, and owner were professional, straightforward, prompt, and responsive. The amazing crew that built our deck did so with outstanding skill, efficiency, and precision. It turned out so beautiful! We especially love the picture box finishing and staircase.
